If you are a fan of arcade brawler games, then Brawl Quest is the game for you. Developed by a Philippine-based studio, ThinkBit, the game boasts cute visuals and fighters. It hurls you into the mean streets of the Metro, where some dodgy crime bosses and their henchmen are wreaking havoc. You will join protagonists Alice and Luwan as they slog through waves of bad guys to restore peace and justice to the city. You will also recruit new playable fighters and even some furry friends. Brawl Quest is a single-player game with fast-paced action. It comes with simple one-handed touch controls and can be played both online and offline. 

Cool, addicting game

At a first glance, Brawl Quest looks similar to average arcade beat 'em-ups like Streets of Rage and Double Dragon. But when you play it, you can see the difference. The game is easy to play and even provides a quick tutorial on the first stage to get you acquainted with the game. It offers a wide range of playable characters, but by default, you will play the Mayor and unlock the other characters— and even pets—along the way. There are more than 50 handcrafted stages in the game, each with two different difficulties.

The game gives you the comfort of playing with one hand. Aside from attack moves, you will get special moves, which will recharge in time. There is also a brawler attack that is more like a finishing move. After you defeat the goons at each level, you will meet the ultimate boss, whom you will have an intense fight with. 

Overall, Brawler Quest contains everything you love about an arcade-action game. It has fun-filled battles, great graphics, and nice sound quality. On top of that, it is playable offline, so you can continue with your battles even if your internet connection is slow. However, there are some bugs and glitches in the game. Moreover, it demands a lot of cash for stamina replenishment, which can be a bit of a deal-breaker.
