Box-o-matic is a free iPhone application developed by Derek Graham that falls under the category of Business & Productivity. This innovative program allows users to create custom laser-cut boxes quickly and easily. With Box-o-matic, you can define the project size and features, preview the project layout, and export it as an SVG or PDF file.

Whether you want to start from scratch or modify an existing project, Box-o-matic offers a range of options to suit your needs. You can specify the dimensions, material thickness, and joint style of your box. Additionally, you have the ability to add a separate lid and customize its appearance, fit, and size.

One of the standout features of Box-o-matic is the project layout tab, where you can get a preview of the layout file that will be generated. This gives you a clear idea of how your box will look before proceeding with the cutting process. Once you are satisfied with the design, you can export the project for further processing or cutting.

Box-o-matic provides flexibility when it comes to box design. You can create fully enclosed boxes with all six sides or opt for open boxes, frames, or other combinations by removing one or more sides. The lids can be flat or fit over with adjustable depth and fit. Additionally, you can add grid dividers to your boxes, with or without frames around the edges. The program also offers various joint options, including plain or smooth joints, as well as automatic or specified box joints. To ensure a precise fit, you can configure the material thickness and kerf settings.

With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive range of features, Box-o-matic is the go-to solution for anyone in need of custom laser-cut boxes. Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional, this application streamlines the box creation process, making it accessible to all.
