Boom Beach: Frontlines is an action game that follows the gameplay of Supercell's Boom Beach. It takes players back to the archipelago with the goal of creating a well-protected base. You will assemble all the necessary buildings, rally your troop, and create a strategy to outplay your opponent. You will play games to gain stars and progress your Boom pass. By doing so, you can unlock chests, coins, and units.

As mentioned, the game provides new features that long-time fans will love. For one, you can now unlock new characters for your team with the rewards you receive. It even includes special characters with new updates. Moreover, you can detonate different elements to blow the enemies during battles. The battles can also get wilder as each game progresses since the game now has larger towers and devastatingly heavy vehicles.

There will also be new maps to fight on every four hours. However, while it features 9v9 team battles, the game does not allow bigger squad numbers. While you can play with friends, you cannot play with nine members. Additionally, getting rewards takes too long. Worse, you only get a little reward for every win. Moreover, there are too many bots that the game lacks depth.

Is the game good?

If you are a fan of Boom Beach, Boom Beach: Frontlines is a must-try. It offers the same gameplay but with new features that increase playability. It lets you unlock new characters, more heavy vehicles, and even larger towers to get more action-packed battles. However, while it supports multiplayer, you cannot create a full nine-man squad. Additionally, unlocking rewards takes time as it only rewards you with so little.
