Bluecode is a mobile payment app that allows users to make cashless payments in Austria and Germany. The app is easy to use and requires only a one-time registration with an Austrian or German bank account. Bluecode works with any smartphone and does not store or transmit any confidential data, ensuring the user's privacy.

Bluecode can be used to make payments in online shops, at stores, and via Bluetooth at vending machines. At the checkout, users simply need to open the app and enter their PIN or use TouchID to access a one-time blue barcode that is scanned at the point of sale.

The app offers several features, including push notifications for shopping deals, a loyalty program to collect stamps and earn exclusive vouchers, and the ability to add customer cards from selected retailers. Bluecode also has top-level security standards, and users can set a 4- or 6-digit security PIN code, as well as use TouchID or FaceID for unlocking the app.

To use Bluecode, users must be at least 18 years old, have an Austrian or German bank account, and be EU citizens with an Austrian or German residence.
