Block 3D Scanner is a free app available for Android that enables users to scan the real world and convert it into 3D block models resembling Minecraft. The app allows you to experiment with several texture resolutions and block sizes to achieve either a more Minecraft-like look or a real-world look of the 3D model.

One of the best features of this app is that you can even export your 3D models to Minecraft and .OBJ! The export to Minecraft is enabled by their special free mod that is also available with the free version of the app together with a detailed tutorial. However, the app is currently only available on devices that support ARCore and Depth API.

The app provides tips for scanning, such as moving the device slowly to avoid motion blur, avoiding scanning surfaces without texture, and scanning indoors for the best results. This is an early version of the app, and the developer, SwanTaleTech, is open to feedback and suggestions for future improvements and features.
