BitMedic AntiVirus Lite is a free, lightweight version of the BitMedic AntiVirus application. It provides protection against viruses, malware, adware and other malicious threats, with support for real-time protection, full system scanning and customized scans. The application has OPSWAT certification and has been tested by AV Comparatives. However, it is worth pointing out that while the AV Comparatives testing did find it achieved 94 percent protection, it did not gain 'Approved' status. Meanwhile, the OPSWAT certificate is bronze, rather than gold. Nevertheless, BitMedic AntiVirus Lite will offer sufficient virus protection for most users, and its quick-start guide and simple interface make it a solid, user-friendly option.
