The BirdSite extension works seamlessly with any Mastodon instance, including those hosted on Google, Apple, or Microsoft servers.

Why you should use it:

If you have some toots that you want to tweet, but don't want them to show up on all your followers' timelines, you can use the BirdSite extension to post them selectively to your Twitter account.

To install it, you have to be logged in on your Twitter account. The BirdSite extension works in the background, meaning that it doesn't require any other special permissions than those required by your Mastodon instance.

It's compatible with all existing Mastodon instances, including the official @birdmastodon Twitter account, as well as with various unofficial ones. It also works with some newer versions of Twitter, but only those that support webhooks.
