Better Lok Indicator for Deep Rock Galactic is a free mod designed to improve the visual feedback of the LOK-1 weapon in the game. It modifies the HUD elements related to the locking mechanism, changing the colors and sizes of indicators based on specific gameplay conditions. When three or more locks are acquired on a target using the Explosive Chemical Rounds overclock, the HUD changes from orange to green, signaling that an explosion will trigger on the targeted enemy. Similarly, full locks achieved with the Executioner overclock also turn the indicators green, confirming that the damage-boosting condition has been met.

In addition to these features, the mod includes an eye-catching animation where the green lock counter grows in size and rotates, ensuring it captures the player's attention during intense combat situations. The latest version has added support for Tier5A & B upgrades, changing lock counters to purple when certain conditions are met, enhancing the overall functionality of the mod.
