Beginner Romanian is an Android app developed by shotgun.experiments. As the name suggests, it is a language learning app designed to introduce beginners and enthusiasts to the Romanian language. The app follows the "a word a day" concept and offers up to 12 words per day of the user's choosing.

The app uses a spaced repetition system where all learned words are repeatedly tested on a decreasing regularity basis, based on correct answers. If answered incorrectly, the app will adjust to test the user more on the word or deactivate it while they learn other words.
