Beginner Esperanto is an Android app developed by shotgun.experiments that aims to teach the basics of the Esperanto language to beginners and enthusiasts. The app follows the "a word a day" concept and offers up to 12 words per day, which users can choose.

The app uses a repetition-based learning method where the learned words are repeatedly tested, and the frequency of testing decreases as the user becomes familiar with the word. If the user answers incorrectly, the app adjusts to test more on the word or "deactivates" it, allowing the user to learn other words.

With almost a thousand common and popular Esperanto words available, users can pace themselves through the app and gain an essential knowledge of the Esperanto vocabulary in just a matter of weeks.
