Bead 12 ( Bara Tehni ) is a traditional board game that originated in South-East Asia and is widely played in some Indian regions and Bangladesh. It is a checker-type game like Chess that requires two players to play. This game is known by different names in different countries, in Bangladesh, it is known as "Baro Guti," and in Punjab, it is known as "Bara Tehni." The game is simple and is widely played by rural people.

The game is played between two players, each having 12 pawns (beads). These beads can move one step forward on the valid positions of the court. If a player can cross a pawn of the other side, then the player will achieve one point. In this way, whoever manages to achieve 12 points will be the winner.
