Beacon Scanner is a free Android application developed by flurp laboratories that allows users to scan and display details about every iBeacon, Eddystone, and AltBeacon in their vicinity. The app comes with a beautifully designed material interface that displays important beacon information such as UUID, Minor and Major values for iBeacons/Altbeacons, URL, UID and TLM frames for Eddystone, proximity value (immediate, near, far), distance to beacon, TX and RSSI values, and a graph showing the last RSSI values. Additionally, Beacon Scanner provides Bluetooth information like MAC address and more. Users can dump beacon data to a local CSV file, send beacon data to a web API via POST requests, and copy and paste single beacon data snippets. However, the app requires Bluetooth Low Energy integrated into the device and at least Android 4.3 to function properly.
