BBOtext is a Chrome add-on developed by Millet Software that aims to save time, reduce effort, and prevent typos when entering text on Bridge Base Online (BBO). It encourages players to announce their system and explain their bidding. The add-on provides autocomplete functionality for text dialogs in three areas: CHAT, CHAT to player, and Alert/Explain.

When typing, a list of matching phrases pops up for the specific area being used. To autocomplete the text, users can either hit Tab to select the first item, click on an item in the list, use the arrow keys to navigate the list, or hit the Space Bar after one character (except "I") for the CHAT area. The Space Bar technique is particularly useful for announcing system descriptions at the start of each round.

Any text sent using BBOtext is automatically saved for future use in the corresponding area. Users can also delete saved phrases by clicking on the [x] option. It's important to note that the matching of saved text to typing is case sensitive.

With over 50 stock phrases available, all starting with a lowercase letter, BBOtext provides a convenient solution for players looking to streamline their communication on Bridge Base Online.
