Worms for the 21st century

Battlepillars really needs to be seen to be appreciated: no description can completely do it justice. Players control a fully customisable army of caterpillars, embarking on a campaign of 50 challenges across a two-dimensional battlefield. While munching leaves can give your troops the edge, it is also possible to call upon the help of other woodland creatures when facing particularly difficult foes. An especially useful part of the game is the test zone, where players can try out new battle strategies before resuming the game or taking the war online.

Not to be taken too seriously…

Battlepillars is perhaps not for strategy-game aficionados, but it is, nevertheless, a fun, addictive wargame. While some may find elements of the game repetitive, others will be content to blast their way through the brightly coloured maps of the Battlepillars universe.
