Bankak / بنكك, is a free finance app developed by the Bank of Khartoum., also known as BOK. Like LANDBANK Mobile Banking and Lloyds Bank Mobile Banking, it lets you check your current bank balance without going to the nearest BOK branch. Convenient and hassle-free, you can enjoy many of its services such as cash deposits, bills payment, and fund transfers.

Most of all, Bankak / بنكك offers free registration by going to New Registration? on the lower left corner of the screen and selecting either Account or Mobile. It supports Arabic and English for better user accessibility, too.

Cashless and convenient

Founded in 1913, BOK is the largest Islamic financial establishment in Khartoum, Sudan. With Bankak / بنكك, you can transfer money of up to 2,000,000 Sudanese pounds per day to recipients with cash cards and those with BOK or non-BOK accounts. You can also set daily, weekly, or monthly fund transfer schedules if you frequently send money to a particular recipient—saving you time and effort.

In addition, the app offers cashless transactions as you can pay for your items at establishments that accept نكك │ Pay as a mode of payment. This payment method can be used by tapping بنكك Pay and scanning the available QR code at your favorite restaurant or store. After that, type the amount needed and you and the merchant will receive a payment confirmation via text message and email.

The app promises account security. As such, you can change your passwords and update your security questions for your peace of mind. If you forgot your password, tap Can’t Sign In? on the lower right corner of the screen and tap SUDAN or UAE. Both buttons let you answer security questions or call the hotline. Unfortunately—if you’re from the UAE—you can’t use your ATM card to reset your password.

One-stop banking option

Bankak / بنكك offers features that guarantee a secure, streamlined banking experience. For example, you can set fund transfer schedules or change your security questions. However—for users in the UAE—your ATM card can’t be used to change your password. If you need to go cashless, you can use the app to scan QR codes and pay for your items. Registration is free, too.
