The Bio-Certification Joint App is a collaborative application developed by 금융결제원KFTC for reinforcing bio-certification security and compatibility among financial companies. This app works in conjunction with financial company apps such as banks, securities, cards, and insurance.

With the Bio-Certification Joint App, financial companies can enhance transaction safety by preventing fraudulent use by unauthorized individuals. Customers can register for bio-certification with a financial company only once, and then use the compatibility function between financial companies of the joint app to enable bio-authentication for all financial companies without the need for redundant registration. This improves customer convenience.

Once the customer completes the bio-certification registration in the financial company's app, the Bio-Certification Joint App automatically runs the bio-authentication without requiring the customer to open the joint app separately.

The app requires certain access permissions, including phone access for mobile phone identification, camera access for palm authentication, and storage space access for storing encrypted information. Optional access rights can be declined without affecting the overall functionality of the app.
