AutoTaxi Safety App is a free Android app developed by DIMTS Ltd. to ensure safe travel, especially for women. The app is designed to check the GPS functionality of the auto-rickshaw or taxi that the user is about to board, to ensure their safety during travel.

The Transport Department, Delhi government, has been working on making the city safer for commuters, with recent policies mandating the installation of a 'Panic Button' in all public service vehicles. The Panic Button is connected to the GPS device of the vehicle, and when a passenger uses it, an 'SOS' signal appears on the GPS tracking screens at the department's control room. This allows the control room to track the exact location of the vehicle and warn the driver directly. The Operations Control Centre set up by the Transport Department also tracks complaints from commuters in real-time.
