Auto-DED is a simple extension designed to automate certain processes within the Diário Escolar Digital de Minas Gerais, a digital school diary used in public schools in the state of Minas Gerais.

One of the tasks that teachers need to perform is recording student attendance for each class. However, when multiple classes are held on the same day, manually recording attendance for each individual class can be a tedious process. This extension aims to streamline this process.

The web page of the diary uses buttons that need to be pressed if a student is absent from a class. Auto-DED utilizes a script that can identify which buttons are pressed without collecting any sensitive data. It then records the indices of these marked buttons.

For example, if buttons [2, 4, 7] are marked, the extension allows storing this information and using a script to automatically press the corresponding buttons. This significantly speeds up the attendance recording process in the diary.
