Authenticator is a simple app that generates strong unique one-time-password (OTP) codes for online accounts, including your Google, Facebook, GitHub, and other online services. It is also possible to import a secret key for offline use.

When you scan a QR code, the generated code will be valid for 30 seconds and you can use it to log in to the corresponding online service. Unlike Authenticator, SMS codes are time-limited.
