Alchemist Ryza: Atelier 3rd is an RPG action game. It is an official sequel to the previous game, and its main characters are Ryza and her friends. It is the first game in the series in which the player can control the main character.

The story begins on Kurken Island, a mysterious island that has appeared in the nearby waters. The reason for this is yet to be found, but it could be the result of a natural phenomenon. On the other hand, it could be the work of a wicked ruler who wishes to conquer the whole world. Whatever the case, the island is in danger of being attacked. This is where the story begins. The main characters will have to set off on a journey to the origin of alchemy.
