Astana TV is a television channel based in Kazakhstan that was founded in 2013.

The channel was developed with the support of the state-owned Kazaknama Media Company and the private Volga Media Foundation.

In the same year, Astana TV signed a contract with the American cable provider AT&T, which allows the broadcasting of live TV in the AT&T broadband and mobile data networks.

The first live broadcasts of Astana TV were made on June 11, 201.

The channel's head, Artur Minzorig, was appointed as the president of the company in November 2013.

In the same month, Astana TV launched the website astanatv.kz with the aim of providing a convenient service for its viewers.

The service is available on Android mobile devices and Apple iOS devices.

Astana TV is the first channel in Kazakhstan to broadcast in high definition.

The channel uses modern technologies and standards such as HD broadcasting, 3D and 4K video, audio, and subtitles.

The channel also has a mobile application.

Astana TV is the only Kazakh television channel that is authorized by the State Television Company of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
