AssetView Web filter extension is an add-on for Chrome designed to provide URL filtering capabilities for the IT asset management software, AssetView. With this extension, users can control the display of websites on computers that have implemented AssetView by registering whitelist and blacklist URLs through the AssetView management console. Additionally, users can specify a redirect URL to notify them of blocked access. The redirect destination can be set for each URL or directed to AssetView's custom block page.

This extension blocks or redirects the display of websites based on the following information obtained from Chrome:

• Web request destination URL

The data obtained is shared only within the AssetView product and is not transmitted outside the product or collected by the developer.

Please note that this extension currently only adds URL filtering functionality and does not include web browser logging capabilities. For logging features, please install the separate AssetView extension.
