ASL - American Sign Language is a native language for deaf people. ASL enables deaf people to communicate and interact with hearing people. There are lots of things you can do with ASL. You can learn it for yourself and for your kids or students. Or if you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can now learn a second language as well!

Some signs are similar to written words. They can be read. Others do not have a visual representation but they can be read. All signs are written down in traditional ASL.
