ARMA 3 : Mobile Online is a free action-shooter game ported by AKG Game Office. It is markedly smaller in terms of content compared to its PC counterpart ARMA 3 but this game still captures the essence of tactical military combat that the ARMA franchise has become known for.

ARMA 3 : Mobile Online sets you into action on a picturesque Mediterranean island that features a wide range of biomes and environments. With a large selection of weapons and vehicles, you can adopt different playstyles depending on your preference. Its open-combat experience can challenge Call of Duty: Mobile or PUBG Mobile.

A feature-rich battle royale game

Like other games in the genre, ARMA 3 : Mobile Online is essentially a battle royale game that sends you to an island and lets you try to be the last man standing. It focuses on this gameplay experience and does a good job at it. However, it lacks other game modes from its PC counterpart. It doesn’t have single-player campaigns, as well as other locations as featured on expansion packs.

Still, the selection of weapons and vehicles in this game makes up for the lack of single-player content. This variety allows for different gameplay strategies. You can lie in wait and snipe unwitting opponents or scan large areas on a helicopter. The vehicle controls are quite different though, making them feel unintuitive for new players. The ARMA franchise has always been a more technical alternative compared to other military-themed action games, and ARMA 3: Mobile Online is no exception. It has a steep learning curve that will leave players learning, often the hard way.
