Aria2c Integration 2 is a free Chrome extension developed by Tomáš Kolinger. This updated version of the popular Aria2c Integration extension offers a seamless integration between Chrome and the aria2 download manager.

With Aria2c Integration 2, users can easily download files with aria2 directly from their Chrome browser. The extension automatically captures new download tasks and sends them to aria2 based on the capturing rules set by the user. These rules can include factors such as file size, file type, site whitelist, and site blacklist.

One of the standout features of Aria2c Integration 2 is the convenient context menu item. Users can simply right-click on any link and select "Download with aria2" to add the link to the aria2 download queue. This saves users time and effort by eliminating the need to manually copy and paste URLs into the download manager.

Additionally, the extension provides a quick view of tasks by clicking on the extension icon. Users can easily monitor the progress of their downloads and take actions such as pausing/unpausing tasks or removing completed/error tasks by clicking on the corresponding progress bar area.

To use Aria2c Integration 2, users need to have aria2c with RPC enabled. The extension allows users to set their RPC user and password/RPC secret in the options. Furthermore, the "rpc-listen-all" and "rpc-allow-origin-all" settings need to be switched on to ensure smooth communication between Chrome and aria2.

Overall, Aria2c Integration 2 is a valuable tool for Chrome users who frequently download files and prefer the efficiency and power of the aria2 download manager. With its seamless integration, capturing rules, and convenient context menu item, this extension streamlines the file downloading process and enhances the overall browsing experience.
