The APT App is an Android-based application developed by Public Media Apps, available for free in the Education & Reference category. This app allows you to access all national, acquired, and local productions available from Alabama Public Television (APT). With the app, you can watch on-demand content of all your favorite shows, PBS Kids! content with parental controls, and easily access the TV program schedule, plus explore additional content.

One of the most convenient features of the APT App is its DVR-like controls, which allow you to pause, rewind, and fast forward. You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off, or rewind to catch a comment you just missed. Additionally, you can watch live streams of special events on the app. Integrated TV program schedules of APT, PBS Kids!, Create, and World are also available.
