It is a private vault app that lets users store their media files, as well as apps that they don't want others to see, view, or access. It supports multiple security locks and authentication methods, including fingerprint recognition.

Just like Vault or LOCKit, App Lock Fingerprint & Vault boasts a simple and intuitive user interface that is easy to learn and use even for beginners. It also supports per-app or per-media configuration options, letting users set a different type of lock for each one.

Vault with updated security

Privacy vault apps offer users a way to safeguard their files from unwanted access. There are plenty of options that let you lock your media, files, and even other applications with a PIN or Pattern lock. Fingerprint recognition, particularly under-display ones, has become quite accurate and reliable for security authentication. App Lock Fingerprint & Vault is an app that lets you use this newer biometric protocol, as well.

In this privacy app, there are dedicated vaults for every type, such as for images, audio, or files, as well as an App Locker section. As mentioned earlier, you can set a specific lock for each vault, so you can use the traditional PIN or pattern options if you want, or employ the new fingerprint recognition authentication method — the choice is yours.

If someone finds out about your vault and tries to access it, the app has an Intruder Alert feature that will take a photo of that person and record the date and other related info when the event happened. However, this particular option is inconsistent and doesn't always work. There have been reports that it does not always take a photo for reference or proof.

Some caveats

All in all, App Lock Fingerprint & Vault is a good privacy vault app that does what it's supposed to and does it well. It's easy to use, well-organized, and lets you use multiple security locks at the same time. The Intruder Alert feature does need more work, though, but aside from that, this one is worth a shot. It is a recommended app.
