Why study agriculture?

We have been running this course for the last 25 years, and have seen its growth in the students’ ability to handle modern farming equipment. Today’s farming has become quite automated, making the farmers more dependent on technology. This makes them more vulnerable to market fluctuations, but also gives them more time to concentrate on their farm work.

The course is designed to enable the students to utilize modern machinery and equipment, including various types of machinery, such as harvesters, hydraulic cargo transporters, irrigation systems, sprayers, and crop protection products. They will also be introduced to new concepts in modern farming, such as crop rotation, use of biocides, and other products that help in the cultivation and protection of crops.

What is the significance of the course?

The course will enable the students to understand the basic principles of modern agriculture, which helps them in their understanding of how crops are grown, and their protection from pests and diseases. It will help them to identify the different types of crops and the steps in their cultivation, and to know the importance of proper fertilizer application and crop rotation. It will help them to identify the different kinds of pests and diseases that can damage crops, and will teach them how to identify and control these pests and diseases.

The students will be able to take part in the learning process through various activities, including making experiments in the laboratory, field trips to the farms, and field competitions. They will also be able to participate in the final project, which is a practical test of their knowledge.
