There are only two copies of this book in the world, one in Rabat and the other in Istanbul. The author, Ahmad bin Yahya bin Jabir bin Dawood Al-Balathiri, who passed away in 278 AH, compiled this book rather than writing it. The book's purpose is to honor oneself, even if one's forefathers were not honorable.
