Animal Apocalypse is a survival and exploration game. It is based on the concept of a zombie apocalypse.

Everywhere in the game—in biomes, POIs, blood moon hordes, etc.—zombies are directly replaced with diseased animals.

According to animal type, infected animals have a chance to drop prize bags! Due to the fact that there are more of them than the standard version of that animal, harvesting them yields fewer resources.

Animals who are ordinarily very weak have more health and experience points than usual.

The typically timid infected animals are suddenly hostile and will try to attack the player. To get to the player, all diseased animals will excavate or destroy structures, and infected snakes will even scale ladders.

Infected snakes have largely taken the place of zombies. Stags infected with the disease have largely replaced feral zombies. Infected mountain lions have mostly taken the place of the radioactive zombies.
