Anchor is a simple Chromium/Firefox extension that aims to combat the mindless scrolling that keeps us glued to our screens for hours. With Anchor, scrolling becomes a deep sea dive, where the further down you scroll, the deeper you dive. As you scroll, your screen gradually turns a dark blue, and a playful little fish swims across your screen. Finally, you hit a rock bottom, reminding you to take a break from scrolling.

This extension is an expansion of the original experiment by Brendan Browne-Adams, Lahari Goswami, Miki Chiu, Tayo Kopfer, and Twomuch Studio. The beauty of the original extension lies in its simplicity, and the developer aims to maintain that simplicity while adding additional functionality.

Please note that to activate the extension for the first time, you may need to remove and add the page to the scrolling list once. After this initial setup, Anchor should work seamlessly to help you break free from endless scrolling.
