Amrit Brikshya Andolan is a new Android app developed by infoyojanaguide in the category of Business & Productivity. This app is aimed at promoting the plantation of commercial trees in Assam, with the goal of making the state greener. The app is being launched by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on September 17th, 2023.

The main objective of the Amrit Brikshya Andolan is to encourage citizens of Assam to participate in tree planting activities and contribute to the state's greenery. By planting commercial trees, individuals, as well as Self Help Group (SHG) members, ASHA workers, and other participants, have the opportunity to earn 300 INR per plant. The government has organized a well-distributed system for the plantation, ensuring that participants do not have to spend any money to acquire the commercial plants.

To participate in the Andolan, individuals need to register through the mobile app. After planting the seedling and uploading a geotagged photo onto the portal, a financial grant of 100 INR will be given as a Direct Beneficiary Transfer. Additionally, if the plant survives and is verified in the third year, an additional payment of 200 INR will be made. It is important to upload geotagged photos to avail the financial grant.
