Ameelio Connect is a free-to-use communication app developed by Ameelio Inc. It aims to provide a platform for people with incarcerated loved ones in Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, or Maine to stay connected. With Ameelio Connect, users can schedule in-person visits and face-to-face video calls conveniently in one place.

The app offers several features to facilitate communication. Users can easily locate their loved ones using the facility directory, securely upload their ID for verification, and schedule free video calls and visits on a weekly basis. Ameelio Connect allows users to keep track of upcoming events, check audio and video connections, and send live chat messages during calls. Additionally, users can receive free voice calls to stay connected with their loved ones.

Ameelio Connect is a nonprofit initiative by Ameelio, with a mission to create a more humane and rehabilitative corrections system. The app is part of their effort to build free-to-use communications technology. While currently available only in select facilities, Ameelio is actively working with policymakers and DOCs across the country to expand their service nationwide.
