Getting the most out of Amarok, however, requires an understanding of what's going on under the hood. For that reason, only experienced users will really have a reason to choose this music player over the many other options.

Amarok is a solid music player with a unique look and huge range of custom options. With so many other more streamlined and user friendly options available it is difficult to recommend this to anyone other than the most demanding experienced users.
