Allow Copy/Paste is a free Chrome extension developed by Fraser Benjamin. It falls under the category of Browsers and specifically the subcategory of Add-ons & Tools. This extension aims to address the issue of websites that block the copy and paste functionality, allowing users to bypass these restrictions.

Many websites implement measures to prevent users from copying and pasting text and content from their pages. Allow Copy/Paste extension provides two features to overcome these restrictions. Users can simply navigate to the desired webpage and click on the extension icon in Chrome, followed by selecting "Allow Copy/Paste". This should generally work for most sites and restore the copy and paste functionality seamlessly. The extension also stores user preferences, eliminating the need to repeat the process for each site.

In case the above method doesn't work, users have an alternative option. They can open Chrome Developer Tools and choose the "Allow Copy/Paste" tab, which provides a button to reload the page and attempt to prevent the blocking script from being added. This additional option ensures that users have a fallback solution to overcome any stubborn copy and paste restrictions.

Allow Copy/Paste is a valuable tool for anyone who frequently encounters websites that restrict the copy and paste functionality. With its straightforward interface and effective features, it offers a convenient way to bypass these limitations and enhance the browsing experience.
