Albatroz is a single-player adventure game where you'll embark on a backpacking experience as you search for your lost brother. This game teaches you when and how to let go and start over as you traverse a journey to the Albatroz Mountain. Developed by SOEDESCO, it’s available on PC and gaming consoles. 

Albatroz is similar to games like Luma Island, theHunter: Call of the Wild, Sons of the Forest, and Rise of the Tomb Raider, giving players an adventure and survival simulation experience. Here, you can enjoy a scenic view as you accomplish your goal of finding your brother.  

Find out the reason why your brother disappeared 

The plot of Albatroz revolves around Isla’s quest to find her remaining family, his brother, who went missing after trying to reach a mythical mountain called Albatroz. Since his brother mysteriously disappeared, Isla’s daily life cycle centers around her backpacking journey on the same mountain to know what happened to his sibling. Here, you’ll be immersed in a thrilling fantasy expedition set in beautiful landscapes. 

As you climb the Albatroz mountain, you’ll encounter villagers in the area, and you can learn about their culture as well. Interacting with the people in Albatroz can also help you decide on your next step or plan as you find your brother. They can even give you information about your brother or give you useful items and special equipment that you can use on your backpacking journey. 

Additionally, this is an interesting game about self-discovery, meeting new people, leaving your urban life behind, and appreciating the quiet life in the mountains, setting itself apart from other walking simulators. Also, each character in this game possesses unique adventure skills that can be upgraded from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Players can accumulate travel points too which they can use to unlock Tiers in the Skill Tree. However, this game doesn’t offer a character development feature.

For players who are into life simulation or backpacking games, Albatroz is a must-try game. Here, you’ll play as Isla as you hike the Albatroz Mountain searching for your brother whose last destination is this very mountain. Your daily life cycle will revolve around meeting villagers in the mountains and planning your next step or planning how you will find your sibling.
