Akamai Debug Helper is a free Chrome add-on designed to assist developers and webmasters in debugging CDN responses. The tool injects Akamai pragma headers into web pages, providing essential diagnostics in a user-friendly popup. Users can enable debug mode on a per-tab basis, allowing them to monitor cache HIT/MISS status, cache keys, time-to-live (TTL), and request IDs. Additionally, it tracks the last 10 main-document requests, making it easier to analyze content delivery performance.

This add-on also features built-in alerts that notify users of significant changes such as HIT to MISS transitions, stale content detection, disabled caching, and cache-key churn. The Force Refresh option allows for a Cache-Control: no-cache request for a single reload, while diagnostics can be exported as JSON for straightforward sharing among team members or for further analysis.
