AIKO-KLHK is an Android-based wood identification tool developed by AIKO-KLHK Dev. It is a free application that falls under the Utilities & Tools category and can be used by anyone who needs to identify different types of wood. The app is capable of identifying wood species by analyzing macroscopic cross-sectional images of the wood. It contains a database of 823 types of Indonesian commercial and protected woods, CITES woods, and specific types of wood requested by the Customs Office based on the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. 462/KM.

The app is developed by the P3HH Research Team, who initiated the automatic wood identification system research inIn, P3HH collaborated with LIPI through the INSINAS cooperation program funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education to develop the automatic wood identification system. In 2019, the Forest Product Research and Development Center (Puslitbang Hasil Hutan) developed AIKO-KLHK comprehensively as a practical innovation. The app can identify wood species in seconds through an online network, making the process much faster than the previous two weeks required for manual identification.
