AI Bytes is a free mobile news app developed by Bananafly Inc. It is an AI-powered news application made for Indian professionals who want to stay up-to-date on the latest events and developments across different industries in the country and beyond. It takes news from multiple reputable sources online and aggregates them into a single platform for easier reading and consumption.

Role-specific AI-curated news

In a nutshell, AI Bytes serves personalized RSS news feeds for different professions and industries, whether you’re a Marketer, Developer, Product Manager, or a Physical Design Engineer. Each day, you receive 20 new stories in 60-word summaries for quick reading and better comprehension. A link to the source article is provided if you want to dive deeper into the story.

There’s also a unique What this means for you section that provides insight into how this news can affect your job/sector. Now, as mentioned earlier, this was developed primarily for Indian professionals, so news selection will favor domestic/local relevance over international coverage. Also, it’s heavily targeted towards the four professions above, so some will feel left out or find the news irrelevant to their situation or profession.

Tailored news-reading experience

Overall, AI Bytes is an interesting app that takes a more focused approach in providing news by tailoring it to your specific job or profession, which helps make what you read more relevant and relatable to your situation. If you belong to one of its target audiences, give it a try. Otherwise, check other options instead.
