Aethyss Launcher is a free personalization mobile app developed by Aethyss Apps and is a third-party application launcher replacement that focuses on customization and robust theming. It also features a UI design that embraces primarily dark colors and aesthetics, making it ideal for devices with AMOLED screens and the battery savings it brings. 

Comparable to the likes of Smart Launcher 6 or Total Launcher, Aethyss Launcher can be personalized to suit different preferences, styles, and home screen setups. It boasts a distinct feature that consolidates everything into a single home screen page for simpler use and navigation. 

Visually flexible launcher 

Upon opening Aethyss Launcher, you’re greeted with the aforementioned unified home screen page, which you can start customizing to your needs and style. The dark UI colors look sleek and come with the added benefit of reducing battery consumption if your device has an AMOLED screen. You do have four theming options available to change the look in different ways, depending on whether you want something modern or utilitarian. 

Compared to other app launchers that support icon packs, Aethyss Launchers comes with more than 20 built-in icon themes, so you can choose one that fits the look you’re going for. There’s a universal search and smart folders that help sort your apps by category, as well as a general-purpose widget integrating weather, calendar agendas, and even media playback controls. Alternatively, you can access your favorite apps with a triple-tap on your screen. 

For controls and navigation, everything is done through swipe gestures, with special trail effects for some added flair. You can even launch apps or perform actions by drawing letters on the screen. Now, all this customization does come with a cost, and that is the app controls everything and doesn’t support third-party themes, icons, or widgets, so you only have the built-in options to work with.
