Adventurers: Mobile is an action mobile game that takes players to West Africa. They embark on a journey to find the legendary treasure of Mansa Musa, the richest man in history. Players assume the role of a young adventurer who greets dangers with a smile to achieve fame and fortune.

The game features different real-world places, including Egypt and Venice. Various settings, such as busy markets, deserts, and jungles, are showcased as well. On top of iconic action mechanics, this title also sports puzzle-solving and exploration, with players given access to versatile movements to get past enemies and obtain treasures.

Basic game packed with this and that

In Adventurers: Mobile, you play as a young adventurer thirsty for fame and fortune. Your adventurer lets you travel to various locations and environments. The gameplay is split into many kinds, like fighting enemies, solving puzzles, and dodging traps. That’s why the in-game movement includes jumping, sliding, climbing, and swinging to avoid obstacles and dangers. If combat is a must, use your equipment and abilities to overcome adversaries.

The in-game lobby highlights your characters and game modes. The Story mode is divided into chapters, but some chapters have multiple parts. Cutscenes are a must-watch to learn more about a chapter and the game’s lore. At the start of the story, the playable character is on top of a vehicle while traversing the streets and fighting enemies. However, the graphics are simple 3D assets without shadows.

The HUD is decent, showing key elements, such as inventory, fire button, and equipped weapon. Camera angles make in-game physics feel real, but when the character is hit by a rocket launcher, no visual shakes or staggering effects happen. Firearm recoil is visually simulated as the character model shakes when firing, while bullet hits are presented in lens-flare-style VFX. Thankfully, the developers included voice-overs, background music, and sound effects in the game.

An indie-style storytelling of a fortune seeker

The Adventurers: Mobile packs the recognized gameplay mechanics in a single body. From gunfights to running and jumping, the game essentially lets players experience high-octane action and mind-exercising puzzles straightforwardly. That said, the graphics are too basic compared to modern titles, making it a bit awkward for those who desire eye-popping visuals. Despite that, the title is an indie action with promising potential.
