Accident is a premium simulation game for PC that was made by Duality Games. In it, players take on the role of a journalist who investigates old car crash cases in order to reconstruct and find out what caused the incidents in the first place.

Accident is a rather unique game that is part car crash sim like Next Car Games: Wreckfest and part investigative adventure similar to Seekers Notes: Hidden Mystery. Players will need to re-enact and re-trace events to understand the events that led to the crash incidents.

What is it all about?

In Accident, you take on the role of a journalist who is researching old car crash incidents—simple collisions to multi-vehicle chain reactions—to figure out what went wrong and the events that led to them. To do so, you will need to obtain evidence and reconstruct crash sites events to look for clues and things that might have been missed by previous investigations and reports.

At the same time, you will also get to help with various rescue operations and missions that you'll encounter throughout your gameplay. Evaluate victim conditions, administer first-aid, and place them in the correct recovery position until first responders arrive at the scene. In every situation that you encounter, you need to balance prioritizing the victim's survival and investigating what happened, as every second will count. 

There's even a rewind feature if you feel like you could have done things differently for the better. The whole concept behind the game is quite unique, but the lack of game content hurts it a little. Considering it's a paid game, there are very few missions and things that you can do, resulting in a playthrough that you could finish within a few hours.

CSI: Car Edition

Overall, Accident is a simulation game with a pretty unique and interesting premise and gameplay mechanic. You can basically think of it as a crime scene investigation, but for vehicle crashes. It's a little thin on game content right now, hence it takes only a few hours to finish the game. However, if you don't mind that, this is one that is worth checking out.
