Created by high school students Eugene Li and Gaëtan Almela, Accents aims to provide a solution for those frustrated by the lack of a simple and unintrusive accent system on Windows OS. Emulating the accent system found in newer versions of macOS, this extension enhances the language learning experience, improves search results, and promotes clear communication in everyday writing.

To use Accents, users simply hold down a key while typing and wait for the popup to appear. The extension supports uppercase letters, punctuation marks, and other symbols. Users can either press the corresponding number or click on the button to select the desired character. Additionally, a shortcut is available where users can press the number of the button before the popup appears.
