World Heroes 2 is a classic arcade fighting game, originally released for Neo Geo arcade systems in 1993. The plot follows the plot of the original game, matching fighters from all over the world in a high-stakes martial arts tournament. This game adds six new characters to the original World Heroes cast of eight fighters, bringing the total number of playable characters to 14.

A standard fighting game with a twist

World Heroes 2 has a simpler control system than most fighting games, with only three input buttons and an eight-way joystick. Holding the buttons down for different lengths of time produces attacks of different power. In addition to the standard tournament mode, World Heroes 2 also features a unique Death Match mode in which characters must fight in an arena full of dangers. This mode uses a different life bar system that allows characters close to defeat to recover health by landing successful attacks.
