5CH STYLE FORMAT is a Chrome add-on developed by newsnepia. It is designed to enhance the browsing experience on 5ch.net (formerly 2ch.net) by providing various features to streamline and optimize the display of threads (articles) and enable direct URL linking, as well as displaying images and comments in a pop-up format.

The add-on offers several basic functionalities, including CSS formatting for improved visual appeal, direct linking of URL links, automatic fitting of the writing box, and the ability to quote comments by clicking on the comment number or selecting text and quoting it with quotation marks.

Additionally, there are optional features that can be toggled on or off, such as adding a button to load new comments, automatic reloading and scrolling for new comments, color-coding of new comments, displaying thumbnails for image URLs in articles, displaying pop-up images when hovering over image URLs in comments, automatically linking "h-omitted URLs" in comments, optimizing fonts for ASCII art in comments, displaying comment history when hovering over user IDs, showing the number of comments made by users next to their user IDs, performing a "desperate checker-like" search by clicking on user IDs, floating the writing box (with drag functionality), and automatically redirecting to the full thread view as opposed to the partial view.
