4th - 5th Grade Reading Comprehension Social Studies is an educational mobile app developed for iOS-based mobile devices, such as the iPhone and iPad. Designed to help children learn to read and understand what they’re reading, 4th - 5th Grade Reading Comprehension Social Studies can help 4th and 5th grade students in the classroom and out. Users can read a variety of stories and follow along with the exercises that follow to build up their reading comprehension and learn how to understand what they read.

Learn what you’re reading

Though most students learn how to read in school or outside of the classroom, it’s not always guaranteed they’ll be able to really soak in the information they read and apply it to their lives. For many students, it’s not difficult to read a paragraph of text only to realize you didn’t really pay attention at all. This leads to reading and re-reading the same sentences over and over. With 4th - 5th Grade Reading Comprehension Social Studies, the aim is to prevent this type of reading and encourage better comprehension. This is done by the addition of exercises after the readings. Students will read a 800-1000 word story and answer questions about it to test their knowledge.
