The objective of the game is to win the most tricks. Each trick contains a certain number of points, which you can only win by taking tricks containing a certain number of points.

The cards of each suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The aim of the game is to win the tricks containing the most points. 

The standard version of the game is for four players to play in a fixed partnership, with partners facing each other. However, there are variations of the game, with different numbers of players and partners, which exist in parallel with the standard version.

The game begins with each player receiving a cards. For every card that you receive, you score one point. The cards that you receive are placed on the table, face down.
