The 2022 MCEC Global Summit, developed by The Military Child Education Coalition, is a free iPhone application designed to convene and support military-connected students. With a focus on the theme "The Journey of the Military Child," this annual event aims to provide a whole child and holistic approach to the development and learning of military-connected youth.

The summit will feature sessions exploring various key areas. The first area is Well-Being, which emphasizes the balance of emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health for military kids. The second area is Academics, which will discuss strategies and policies that provide access to opportunities and foster learning. The third area is Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, focusing on practices that promote respect, dignity, and mutual concern. Lastly, the summit will also highlight Purple Star Schools, which are recognized as models of best practice commitment to serving the unique needs of military-connected students.
